Two man ambrose after work today. Well it was a two man team against a three man/woman team. I played nine holes right handed and then the back nine holes left handed.

Big congratulations to my ambrose partner for the night Colin de Grandhomme who has been named in the 20/20 NZ Cricket team squad. Colin is a member at Pakuranga Country Club and is a very handy golfer…. sometimes.

After nine holes we had a two shot lead over our competitors. So as generous gesture I decided to play the second nine left handed. From there onwards it was up to Colin to keep us in it as I was a dead weight and managed to only look like a fool for the next two hours. At the end of it we managed to hold onto a tie which I was happy and I think the other team was a little embarrassed by. Hence why I will not name the three players that played against us.

One problem I had during the nine holes was that I was trying to hit the cover of the ball; this is made slightly harder when you have no coordination. I’ll be back soon, Sammie Tee.

P.S. I will upload a video of myself from this day. It’s worth a watch think I got the driver out maybe 5cm zero carry.
